I was in a mansion in the second floor. It was night and stormy. Wind was blowing through it and white silk curtains were blowing. I walked down stairs and ended in a basement. There was a trickster God of some kind that looked like a court jester. He told me that if I tried to escape that he would keep me in the dream a very long time but if I stayed in the room he would let me out sooner. I started opening the door but there were infinite doors behind it. I started pulling insulation from around the door and escaped in another room. He was there and showed me his palms and they looked like cards from a card deck. I remembered that if you look so your hands in a dream they will be distorted. I knew I was dreaming but them I remembered that I looked at his hands and not mine so he tricked me into thinking the dream was real again.
This dream might be reflecting your subconscious fears or insecurities. You may feel trapped or stuck in a situation and unable to escape it. The mansion signifies the luxuries of life while the stormy weather may represent the turbulent emotions that you are going through. The trickster God may represent the fears of being misled, tricked, or conned in waking life. The infinite doors symbolize multiple possibilities that you could take, but you are struggling to make the right choice and direction to take. The jester asking you to stay in the room to let you out sooner indicates that you may need to stay calm and patient before taking any impulsive actions. You will need to work harder to distinguish between reality and illusion, and it may require more effort from your end.
